ZF Trading UK Ltd have increased their range of SACHS Flywheels for Commercial Vehicle applications. Five new part numbers have been added to the range which includes both conventional and Dual Mass Flywheels.
The additional references cover DAF CF75, IVECO, EuroStar, Euro Trakker, MAN TG-A and the later 4 Series Scania applications.
ZF Trading recommend that when a flywheel is replaced a brand new flywheel is fitted as opposed to a skimmed flywheel.
Ian Poultney Commercial Vehicle Product Manager explains, “When fitting a skimmed flywheel you are reducing the mass which affects the heat dissipation. Fitting a new flywheel will allow maximum permissible wear from the clutch. We also recommend that when changing a clutch that has been overheated, the flywheel is checked to make sure that no distortion has occurred, as this may result in the new clutch not fitting correctly and wearing out prematurely”.
All SACHS Flywheels parts are manufactured to Original Equipment specifications and are already in stock at ZF Trading’s Crick Warehouse.
